Note: I think the name is Dury although it is very hard to read on most of the bap records of children. I think the name is Dury although it is very hard to read on most of the bap records of children. If you look at John's bap you can see it most clearly. When you compare the writing with that of the word "Daughter" you can see it is 99% Dury Of course just because he wrote Dury doesn't mean that was what she was! Assuming it was Dury I then searched for marriage of Ann Dury and John Jackson. I did find one and the date was right. I only saw a transcription though not the original. |
